I recently purchased the Anker Prime Docking Station, trusting it would be compatible with my Lenovo laptop as advertised. However, I’m encountering a serious issue: when connected to the docking station with the included USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable, the laptop briefly begins charging, then stops, then starts again, repeating this cycle continuously. The result is that the battery drains over time instead of charging.

I ensured the dock was connected to the correct port on my laptop, and I’ve double-checked all possible settings – but the problem persists. For a device at this price point, this is unacceptable, especially when the website claims compatibility with Lenovo.

The dock station offers great build quality, with a sturdy and premium feel. However, there are a few drawbacks. The display is overly bright at night, and even when switched off, it wakes up if a cable is plugged in, which can be quite irritating. Additionally, the customization options available through the Windows and Mac apps are quite limited, leaving much to be desired in terms of personalization. Overall, it's a solid product but could use some improvements in functionality and user experience
